Warm Before the Storm

For today, high pressure is trying to work back in, but it is a very weak push before a storm system rolls in for Wednesday. A cold front arrives tomorrow that will give the valleys a chance for 1-3 inches and the mountains 3-6 inches below 8000 ft, with higher amounts above that level. Winds will be breezy through Thursday as well.

Today: Highs in the mid to upper 30’s with some south winds in the teens. Partly Cloudy

Tonight: Increasing clouds with lows in the 20’s. Slight chance of snow

Wednesday. Snow and windy. Highs around 30 degrees. South southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday. Cold. Wind chill will be a factor with breezy north winds, especially in the morning. Partly Cloudy.
