Windy Wednesday, Cold First Day of Winter

Our cold front has moved off to the east with a convergence zone forming behind, with scattered snow showers expected for this evening in the Snake River Plain..

Winds will be breezy through Thursday as well thanks to the passing cold front. A weak snow event for Friday before frigid conditions set up for Christmas weekend.

Tonight: Lows in the 20’s with a chance of snow in the early evening.

Thursday. Cold. Wind chill will be a factor with breezy north winds, especially in the morning. Partly Cloudy.

Friday: A 30% chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 20°. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
