Scattered Snow for the Holiday Weekend

Scattered snow showers for Friday night and early Saturday, with most of the heavy snow favoring SE Idaho and SW Wyoming.
Another round of snow approaches on Christmas Eve into Christmas morning.

1-3″ for the Snake River Plain. 4-6″ for higher elevations near the Wyoming state line and the Idaho SE highlands.

Saturday: 40% chance of snow in the morning. Cold with highs in the high teens to low 20’s. Decreasing clouds for the afternoon. WINDY, SW winds 15-25 mph.

Sunday: 60% percent chance of snow. Cloudy with highs in the low 20’s.

Monday: 40% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with highs into the upper 20’s. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
