Wyoming highway 22 closing for avalanche control

People going through Teton Pass on Wyoming highway 22 will need to plan accordingly December 30th.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is scheduling to close Teton pass at 9 pm for avalanche control.

Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increased avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure.

No overnight parking at the summit of Teton Pass will be strictly enforced.

Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.
