25 arrested in District 5 ISP emphasis patrol
Idaho State Police participated in a holiday mobilization effort targeting impaired drivers.
District 5 Patrol Lieutenant Michael Winans says Pocatello-based troopers arrested 25 impaired drivers during the time of the emphasis patrol from December 13, 2017 to January 2, 2018.
“Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” was sponsored by the Office of Highway Safety through the Idaho Department of Transportation. It provided overtime opportunities to law enforcement agencies across the state to participate in the enforcement effort.
