Rain and Snow for Saturday

A few light snow showers tonight for Central Idaho, otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies and light winds. A low pressure system and cold front will begin moving in Fri evening and continue into the weekend. Scattered rain and snow showers will be with us on Saturday. A skiff to 1.5 inches of snow is expected in the Snake River Plain, with 1″- 2″ in the lower elevations of the Central Mountains. 3″- 5″ possible for the higher elevations.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with lows in upper teens and lower 20’s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a highs into the lower 30’s. Friday Night, A 20% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20°.

Saturday: Rain & snow with highs into the mid 30’s. SW winds 15-25 mph.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with highs into the upper 20’s and lower 30’s.
