Two drivers extricated from vehicles after wreck

Two drivers were transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after first responders had to extricate both from their vehicles.

The two-vehicle accident occurred at 3500 E. and 300 N. around 8:22 a.m. Sunday.

Menan QRU was dispatched to assist Central Fire District’s Lewisville QRU and two Idaho Falls Ambulances on scene with extrication.

Officials report both patients appeared to be in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Officials report the roads were slick, and Central Fire would like to remind all drivers to reduce speeds to account for slick conditions.
