Power restored to Island Park area
UPDATE: At approximately 12:45 p.m., power was restored to all Fall River Electric customers in the Island Park area affected by the outage.
It took multiple crews over seven hours to restore power.

Fall River Electric members in many parts of Island Park are experiencing power outages this morning due to heavy, wet snow on power lines.
Officials report the snow has caused several lines to fall to the ground and has tripped several breakers inside many substations.
The areas most affected include Macks Inn, Yale/Kilgore Road, areas north of the Island Park reservoir and south of Henry’s Lake.
Several crews are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
