New technology introduced for irrigators

The Shilo Inn showcased all things irrigation today. Irrigators rely on shows like this to catch up on the latest technology.

The Idaho Irrigation Equipment Show and Conference drew in hundreds seeking information on irrigation equipment and services.

Fifty-five irrigation equipment manufacturers, dealers, and distributors of landscape and agricultural irrigation products lined the Event Center. In addition, there were seven technical seminars detailing landscape and agricultural irrigation.

Tom Devol of JAIN Monitoring and Control was one of many speakers discussing topics such as soil moisture monitoring.

The conference focused on promoting new advances in irrigation. They also talked about filtration, landscape lighting, and pesticides.

This event rotates annually between Nampa, Burley and Idaho Falls.
