Snow Today, Windy Tonight

Another round of wet weather is arriving today, with primarily snow showers for this afternoon. Light snowfall amounts for the Plain are expected, with higher amounts for the higher elevations where a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. Plan on slippery road conditions, especially over mountain passes. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches above 6000 feet with 1 to 4 inches expected in the lower mountain valleys.

Today: Highs in the low 30s, with a chance of rain/snow for the afternoon and evening hours.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with rain/snow showers and southwest wind 15 to 30 mph, gusts as high as 45 mph. Low’s into the mid 20’s.

Friday: Partly cloudy with drier weather by the afternoon. A 20 percent chance of snow/rain showers for the morning. Highs into the mid 30’s.

Saturday: Partly Cloudy with light winds and highs into the lower 30’s.
