Police called after man shot with pellet gun

Police were called to the 300 block of 13th street in Idaho Falls this afternoon after a man was shot with a pellet gun. He was shot around 3 am this morning, but didn’t call it in to police until this afternoon after the injury became more serious. It is a non-life threatening injury. He is currently being transported to the hospital.

People in the area became detained after becoming aggressive at the scene.
