Proposed zoning ordinance changes to be discussed at three public meetings

The Idaho Falls Planning Division of the Community Development Services Department will hold three public meetings to discuss proposed changes to the zoning ordinance and resulting rezones.

You are invited to attend the following meetings:

January 24, 4:00-7:00 p.m., Idaho Falls Public Library, 457 W. Broadway January 31, 4:00-7:00 p.m., Longfellow Elementary School, 2500 S. Higbee February 7, 4:30-7:30 p.m., Compass Academy Room 305, 955 Garfield Street

The first two meetings will cover general information about the changes affecting all zones in the city, and the third meeting at Compass Academy will only cover the Traditional Neighborhood Zone.

Each meeting will also explain which properties will need to be rezoned as a result of the new ordinance.

During each meeting, staff will give a brief presentation once each hour followed by questions and answers, and the remaining time will be an open house format where you can view maps and other information on display.
