Warm Before the Storm

Today is the warm before the storm, as temperatures will rise into the 40s for almost all of the Snake River Plain, ahead of a cold front moving in tomorrow. Southerly winds will pick up this afternoon, from 10-20 mph. Temps will drop into the weekend, returning to what would be expected for mid-January. A few storms move in next week giving the region more chances for snow.

Today: Mostly cloudy with highs in the 40’s. Rain late.

Tonight: Rain likely with lows in the 30’s.

Friday: Rain and snow. Cloudy, with highs into the 30’s. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow in the morning, with a high into the lower 30’s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with highs near 30.
