Warmer Today, Snow Tomorrow

We’ll see some blustery south winds ahead of a cold front arriving tomorrow. With those south winds, temperatures will rise into the 40s for most of the Snake River Plain. Expect the snow to begin tomorrow morning, though it will likely start as a rain/snow mix near Pocatello, with accumulations around 1-2 inches. Higher amounts are expected for the highlands, including 2-5 for Island Park and Driggs. Likely a dusting to an inch for Jackson and Salmon.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a lows in the mid to upper 20’s. South southwest wind 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday: Snow with highs into the mid 30’s 1-2″ of new snowfall possible. SW winds at 15-25 mph., with gusts over 35mph.

Friday: A 40% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high into the upper 20’s to low 30’s. Breezy. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
