A cold front is moving in for today. Expect the snow to begin in the late morning, though it will likely start as a rain/snow mix near Pocatello, with accumulations around 1-2 inches throughout the day. Higher amounts are expected for the highlands, including 3-6 for Island Park and Driggs. Likely one to two inches for in the towns of Jackson and Salmon.

Today: Snow with highs into the low to mid 30’s and 1-2″ of new snowfall possible. SW winds at 15-25 mph, with gusts over 35mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a lows in the mid to upper 20’s. South southwest wind 10 to 20 mph.

Friday: A 40% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high into the upper 20’s to low 30’s. Breezy. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday: A 40% chance of snow, Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
