Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce meets with legislators

The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce traveled to Boise this past Monday and Tuesday to meet with legislators.

They get together with other chambers every year and invite local members to discuss questions or issues in politics. They took part in the lectures and classes for two full days.

Members of the Idaho Falls Chamber say it was great way to kick-off the legislative session and have our legislators remember we’re here.

“We have an excited legislative team from eastern Idaho. There’s a lot of things happening. They’ve got bills out on the table, they’re working hard. We’re already seeing more bills put to print this year than we have in any of the previous years,” said Chip Schwarze, CEO Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber will host weekly conference calls with local legislators during the rest of the legislative session.
