Public invited to take survey on Idaho’s K-12 assessments

The Idaho Department of Education wants Idahoans to provide feedback on the state’s assessment system through on online survey.

The survey takes 20 minutes to complete and asks questions in regards to costs, time spent on testing and alignment with standard.

The survey will be available through February 16, 2018.

After that, the results of the survey and feedback from in-person focus groups held in January will be shared with the Idaho Assessment Task Force, a group selected by Superintendent of Public Instruction Sherri Ybarra to review the state’s assessment system and make recommendations.

Those recommendations will be shared with the State Board of Education later this year.
