Get puppy kisses onValentine’s Day

The dogs at the Pocatello Animal Shelter are hoping to find love this Valentine’s Day.

On Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you are invited to stop by the shelter and get your picture taken at the dog kissing booth.

You can kiss one of the shelter’s dogs or bring your own dog in for a smooch.

“Even dogs deserve to feel loved on Valentine’s Day,” said Danielle Garcia, Interim Animal Services Director. “We’re hoping a few dogs and people will be struck by Cupid’s arrow and these pets get to go to their forever home.”

Donations for the photo are encouraged but not required.

The pictures will be available for pickup Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pocatello Animal Shelter located at 3100 Avenue of the Chiefs.
