Rexburg Police investigate alleged batteries

Rexburg Police are investigating three separate reports of battery from women on the Brigham Young University Idaho campus Thursday night.

In the first, a female victim said she was smacked hard on her rear-end by an unknown male while she was walking home.

Later, police were summoned to a local parking garage. A female victim reported being smacked on her rear-end by an unknown male while walking to her apartment.

And, a short time after that, police took a report from a third female victim who said an unknown male grabbed her breast while she was walking home.

In a fourth incident, police were dispatched to a Rexburg apartment complex after a suspicious man was seen going from car to car, looking in windows and attempting to open doors.

Investigation into all four incidents is continuing. Police did not say if the incidents were related.
