Structure fire causes $60,000 to $100,000 of damages

A homeowner’s shop in Terrace Hills subdivision in Rigby was completely engulfed in flames Friday morning around 11a.m.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes. Officials report the fire was put out around 12:20 p.m., but crews were still working with hot spots.
Firefighters report the shop and its contents were completely destroyed. Crews estimate the damage to be somewhere between $60,000 to $100,000.The shop’s owners report two vehicles were destroyed.
No one was injured in the fire officials report.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Rigby, Menan, Lewisville and Idaho Falls Fire Departments responded to the fire.
