Man arrested for growing marijuana in Idaho Falls home
A man is custody for brandishing a gun and growing marijuana at his home in Idaho Falls.
A witness called 9-1-1 after seeing Michael Scott Allen with a gun.
When officers arrived, they found him hiding in his basement where they also found a marijuana growing operation.
Two kids were in the home at the time.
Allen was arrested for felony aggravated assault and felony manufacturing a controlled substance with children present.
He also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on charges of having an invalid driver’s license and for consuming and possessing an open container of alcohol.
