Winter weather to close out February

Scattered snow showers in the forecast for overnight and Tuesday. The key word is scattered, some locations in the Snake River Plain could see a few inches. However, most of the lower elevations will look for a dusting or skiff of blowing snow. Staying windy through Tuesday, with a break on Wednesday and some sunshine. More scattered snow and wind as a another system moves in for Thursday and Friday.

Tonight: Flurries possible, with mostly cloudy skies and lows in the teens and low 20’s.

Tomorrow: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low 30’s. Slight chance of snow.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 30’s.

Thursday: Cloudy with a 40% chance of snow. Highs for the Plain into the upper 30’s. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
