3rd annual ‘Dancing with the Pocatello Stars’ kicks-off

On Saturday, 10 dancers will take the stage with several names throughout the southeastern Idaho community during the third annual ‘Dancing with the Pocatello Stars’ event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Last year, KIFI Local News 8/KIDK Eyewitness News 3 reporter Misty Inglet swept the floor and won the entire competition.

This year, she will grace the event as the official emcee, and KIFI Local News 8 morning anchor Kaitlin Loukides will be competing with her dance partner Tristan Lewis of Rigby.

The two will be dedicating their number to veterans who are fighting cancer.

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, roughly 40,000 cancer cases are reported to the VA each year. (Read more here)

The event will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Century High School auditorium in Pocatello.

It starts at 7 P.M. and admission is only one dollar.

Last year, the event raised more than $13,000 which all went to the American Cancer Society.
