Calm Today, Rain/Snow and Wind Tomorrow

Fairly quiet weather for today, as we wait for our next storm on Thursday and Friday. By Thursday afternoon, expect to see gusty winds and scattered rain/snow showers. The main cold front will pass through on Friday, giving the Snake River Plain a chance for snow accumulations. The southern portions of the Central Mountains, especially the Sawtooths and Big and Little Wood River Regions, will see a substantial amount of snow out of this system.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the high 20’s and low 30’s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the 20’s.

Thursday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of rain/snow. Highs for the Plain into the upper 30’s. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.

Friday: 70% chance of snow, 1-2″ of new snowfall possible. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.
