Rain, Snow and Wind to start off March

Our next storm is lined up to move in for Thursday and Friday. By Thursday afternoon, expect to see gusty winds and scattered rain/snow showers. The main cold front will pass through on Friday, giving the Snake River Plain a chance for snow accumulations after the cold front passes on Thursday night. The southern portions of the Central Mountains, especially the Sawtooths and Big and Little Wood River Regions, will see a substantial amount of snow out of this system.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the 20’s.

Thursday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of rain/snow. Highs for the Plain into the upper 30’s. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.

Friday: 70% chance of snow, 1-2″ of new snowfall possible. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow. Highs into the mid 30’s and North winds 10-15 mph.
