A winter storm is moving in for today and will last into the weekend. By this afternoon, expect to see gusty winds and scattered rain/snow showers. The southern portions of the Central Mountains, especially the Sawtooths and Big and Little Wood River Regions, will see a substantial amount of snow out of this system.

Thursday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of rain/snow. Highs for the Plain into the upper 30’s. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.

Tonight: Rain/Snow showers with lows in the low 30’s.

Friday: 80% chance of snow, 1-2″ of new snowfall likely. Windy, with winds 15-25 mph.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow. Highs into the mid 30’s with a light breeze.
