Sylvan Pass to close Thursday night

Yellowstone National Park officials report Sylvan Pass, the road from East Entrance to Lake Butte Overlook, will close to oversnow travel beginning Thursday, March 1 at 9:00 p.m.

All oversnow travel will end for the season on Thursday, March 15, at 9:00 p.m., and spring plowing will begin after the roads close.

Officials ask you plan accordingly, heed road closures and obtain the latest forecast before traveling.
