Cold Front Today!

A winter storm is moving in and will last into the weekend. Expect to see gusty winds and scattered snow showers. The main cold front will pass through this morning and into the afternoon, giving the Snake River Plain a chance for snow accumulations of 1-3 inches. The mountains around the Plain will see substantial amounts of snow with this system.

Friday: 100% chance of snow, 1-3″ of new snowfall likely for portions of the Snake River Plain. 4-8″ of new snowfall for local mountains. Windy, with winds 15-30 mph.

Tonight: Snow showers with lows in the low 30’s.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow. Highs into the mid 30’s. Snow likely for the E. Highlands and W. Wyoming.

Sunday: Partly/Mostly cloudy with lingering mountain snow near the Wyoming border. Highs into the lower 30’s. Breezy.
