Wanted woman turns herself in

UPDATE 3/28/18: Idaho Falls Police Department reports Nikole “Nik” Hawkins turned herself in in Carson City, Nevada.

Officials said when she attempted to flee the state, Hawkins was contacted by people she knew and encouraged to turn herself in.

Hawkins had a felony warrant for multiple counts of burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and grand larceny in Nevada and two active local warrants for two additional, unrelated offenses.

ORIGINAL 3/22/18:

Police are asking for your help locating 26-year-old Nikole “Nik” Hawkins.

Idaho Falls Police believe she is currently in Idaho Falls or the surrounding area.

Nikole is a suspect in multiple mail thefts in Shelley, Idaho Falls, Iona, Ammon and Bonneville County which have occurred over the past two weeks.

She has two active local warrants for two additional, unrelated offenses and a felony warrant from Nevada for multiple counts of burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and grand larceny.
