Egg drop soup at Woodland Hills Elementary

It was egg drop soup at Woodland Hills Elementary in Ammon Friday afternoon.

“Drop it! Drop it! Drop it!” yelled the crowd of students at the man above.

It wasn’t served as part of the school lunch menu, but rather it was a science experiment involving the entire third grade. All 93 students in the four classes got involved in the egg experiment.

Each student came up with their own creative design to see whose egg would survive being dropped from high up in a lift. Even some parents came to watch. In the end, some eggs survived and as you might expect, some did not. But everyone had a lot of fun and they learned something!
