Pocatello Police charge 3 with intent to deliver

Pocatello Police have arrested three persons on drug charges in two separate incidents.

Jennifer Rae Newsom, 35, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Whitman Street at around 2:54 p.m. Thursday. According to police, Newsom was pulled over for a violation. During the stop, she was found to be in possession of 16.3 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, and scales.

Then, at around 12:25 a.m. Friday, an officer saw Eric Paul Stock, 36, driving in the area of Pole Line Road and Alameda with Kristina Rene Hand, 33, as passenger. The officer identified Stock as a suspended driver and conducted a traffic stop. Stock and Hand were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, packaging materials, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and scales. Both were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
