Bills Bike and Run kicks off Easter weekend with a run

On Saturday, the crew over at Bill’s Bike and Run held their 4th Annual Easter Egg Run, to help kick off this weekend’s Easter festivities.

The race started at 4:30 a.m. at the Greenbelt river.

“We hid eggs somewhere around on o’clock in the morning,” said Doug Swanson, the General Sales Manager of Bill’s Bike and Run. “We had about 800 eggs along the greenbelt from right here at the Pierview all the way up through Freeman Park, so we had runners start here around 4:30 and that Easter Egg Run has grown every year. I think we had 85 runners this morning.”

Runners were able to find easter eggs and exchange them at the store later for prizes. Prizes include everything from free socks, discounts with “Bill’s Checks,” free gear, gift cards, free shoes, and more.

Bill’s Bike and Run; with help from Snake River Landing, Teton Auto Group, Idaho Credit Union, put together the Great Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. There were about over 25,000 eggs hidden around the Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls with over $2,000 in prizes.

Broulim’s Fresh Foods helped supply all of the candy for the eggs.
