High winds knock off power in Fremont County

Update: Fall River Electric reports power has been restored to the affected area.

High winds are being blamed for a power outage in southern Fremont County.

About 353 customers of the Fall River Electric Cooperative in the Chester and Wilford area are affected.

Utility officials blame the outage on high winds that brought down a power line.

Crews have been assigned and Fall River expects power to be restored by about 2 p.m.
