Three arrested after high-speed chase ends in Fort Hall

Three were arrested after a high-speed chase ended in Fort Hall Monday evening.

A Bannock County Sheriff’s Office deputy started the pursuit of a black suburban driving at a high rate of speed traveling northbound on Rio Vista Road on the Fort Hall Reservation.

The Fort Hall Police Department (FHPD) located the vehicle on ‘D’ Avenue and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The vehicle failed to stop and drove down Agency Road to Siler Road and on to Fielding Road to Reservation Road.

FHPD continued the pursuit on Ballard to Hi Line Road then southbound to Reservation Road where the front passenger side tire was spiked by FHPD.

The vehicle continued to drive on a flat tire in the Fort Hall area and came to a final stop at Ballard and Rio Vista Road.

Officers then took three adults, Tremond Cerino, Kyler Preacher and driver Samantha Yazzie, into custody.

All three were transported and booked at the Fort Hall Corrections at the Tribal Justice Center.

The individuals are charged with illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, and Yazzie was charged with DUI and Obstruction.

Officers report the high-speed chase did not injure anyone or any property.
