Spin into Action

April is child abuse prevention month. Madison Cares put on their 5th annual, Pinwheel for Prevention to help spread awareness.

Community members were invited to help Madison Cares place pinwheels, which is the recognized symbol for child abuse prevention, in front of the Madison Education center. It’s to remind the community what to learn about, watch for, and report signs of child abuse.

There were also sign ups and information on the free class, Darkness to light. It offers education to increase knowledge, improve attitudes towards child protection.
