Man struck by car on U.S. 20
An Idaho Falls man was hospitalized late Friday after he was struck by a car while crossing U.S. 20.
Idaho State Police said Don Phelps, 32, was walking in the lane of travel on the highway. He was struck by a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz driven eastbound by Mariela Resendiz, 23, of Idaho Falls.
It happened at around 11:25 p.m. at milepost 309 near Idaho Falls.
Phelps was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
