High Wind Warning with Scattered rain/snow mix

A vigorous storm system is moving for Wednesday night and Thursday with a warm front and cold front combo. After midnight into early Thursday, expect heavy rains and high elevation snow showers. A strong cold front will make its way into Eastern Idaho by the late morning and mid-day hours. A High Wind Warning has been issued for the lower Snake River Plain with wind gusts at 50-60 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with rain showers. Lows into the low 40’s. South wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Thursday: Rain and snow likely with the possibility of a t-storm. High’s into the mid to upper 40’s. Chance of precipitation is 70% and very windy.

Friday: A chance of snow and rain showers early, then clearing. A high into the upper 40’s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a highs into the mid 50’s.
