Marsupial invasion at one local school

Mrs. Stillman’s class at Summit Hills Elementary in Bonneville County were in for a real treat today. The whole fifth grade class got a visit from a real life kangaroo. The class had been learning about biomes and different animal adaptations. Mrs. Stillman thought that it would be fitting to invite her friend’s mother, who owned the kangaroo, to speak to the class on April 11. The students ask questions about their habitat and the environment they live in. “The kids were so excited about it,” said Rebecca Stillman. “They’ve never touched a kangaroo before so it was pretty cool.”
