Local News 8 video of the geese falling from the sky during last weekend’s lightning storm is getting national attention.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric administration contacted our Local News 8 ‘ s Linda Larsen who witnessed what happened and shot the video, as they try to learn more about the bizzare event.

Larsen was outside Saturday during that horrific lightning storm. She witnessed the birds dropping out of the sky. Some 112 birds in total bit the dust.
