A few showers this weekend with windy conditions

A brief ridge of high pressure sets up for the weekend. We’ll have just a slight risk of showers and thunderstorms, as wet weather spills across Northern Idaho and Montana. Most of the showers will be into the high country near the Montana border and the Teton Range. Another cold front arrives for Monday, with gusty winds and showers.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs into the mid 50’s. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunday: Warmer with highs near 60°. Partly cloudy with A 20 percent chance of rain. Winds 10 to 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Monday: A 50 percent chance of rain with gusty winds. Cloudy, with a high into the lower 50’s.

Tuesday: Windy, with a 40 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45°.
