Blackfoot High School evacuated for electrical fire, classes resumed

Blackfoot High School was evacuated for an electrical fire Tuesday around 11:30 a.m.

Officials say someone in the building noticed sparks coming from an outlet, and the school was evacuated for about 15 minutes.

Students have been allowed back into the school, and classes have resumed. The classroom where the incident happened is not being used.

District officials said no one was injured.

The fire department is still investigating.
