Crash knocks off power near Rigby
UPDATE 5:30 p.m. Idaho State Police reports all lanes are now clear.
UPDATE: 9:35 a.m. Rocky Mountain Power officials said the crash affected a major transmission line.
Crews have had to isolate the the power in order to complete repairs.
Rocky Mountain Power is projecting the pole will be replaced, power restored and the intersection opened by around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Approximately 454 Rocky Mountain Power customers lost electricity overnight, after a crash near Rigby at around 12:34 a.m. Tuesday.
Idaho State Police said a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Gerrit Gulden,41, of Rigby crashed into a power pole. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 48 and North 4000 East.
Gulden was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
The Idaho Transportation Department has closed about 1.5 miles of Highway 48 from the U.S. 20 overpass to just east of 4100 East.
Rocky Mountain Power technicians at the scene estimated it would be mid-afternoon before the power pole is repaired and the intersection clear for traffic.
