1 person arrested after high-speed chase
West Yellowstone Police Department reports one person is in custody after a high speed chase Thursday morning.
The incident started when Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle from Bozeman and requested assistance with the pursuit.
According to officials, the pursuit exceeded 100 mph at times.
Law enforcement from the West Yellowstone Police Department and the National Park Service were staged with spike strips to provide backup if the pursuit came south of Big Sky.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver in Big Sky.
