Central Fire District Chief resigns

Central Fire District’s Fire Chief William Pope tendered his resignation at the Central Fire Commissioners meeting Thursday night.

His resignation was accepted by Central Fire Commissioners.

There will be no change in services offered by the Central Fire District.

Assistant Chief Carl Anderson will be interim chief.
