Second Bill’s Bike & Run location has grand opening

The new location for Bill’s Bike & Run is up and running and had it’s official grand opening Friday.

The ceremony kicked off with a ribbon cutting. It’s in the Sandcreek Commons Shopping Center near Broulim’s, Hobby Lobby, and Cabela’s in Ammon. The 1,200-foot shop opened in Nov. 2017, and is the second location for Bill’s Bike & Run, which also has a shop in Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.

“Bill’s Bike and Run has been in the Idaho Falls community for 71 years now. And this is our first adventure in Ammon. We’re very excited to be on this side of town. It gives our customers a lot of convenience to be able to drop off some service bikes here or stop in for running accessories. We’re hoping to grow and have the same kind of square footage over here as we do in Snake River Landing,” said Doug Swanson, the general manager of Bill’s Bike & Run.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Bill’s Bike & Run of Ammon will also have regular community group runs starting from the shop beginning at 6:15 p.m. every Wednesday
