Pocatello woman hurt in motorcycle accident

A Pocatello woman was hospitalized around 7:57 p.m. Saturday after a motorcycle accident on Old Highway 91 near Robbers Roost Road, south of Inkom.

Idaho State Police reported Gregory Dewalll, 54, of Pocatello was driving northbound on a 2012 Honda motorcycle when a herd of deer entered the road. Dewall hit one of the animals and both he and his passenger, Charlene Dewall, 58, of Pocatello were ejected.

Charlene was flown by helicopter to Portneuf Medical Center. Her condition is unknown.

Neither of the riders were wearing a helmet.

The highway was blocked for about two and a half hours.
