Idaho State University’s Ashlyn Ames earns player of the week

Idaho State University’s Ashlyn Ames has earned player of the week honors in the Big Sky conference.

This is the first time Ames has won the award in her collegiate career.

She is the only Bengals player to win player of the week honors so far during the 2018 season.

Ames hit .545, while driving in seven runs and scoring 3 times.

Her performance keeps the Bengals playoff hopes alive for a spot in the Big Sky tournament.

Ames was named conference picther of the week April 25th, 2016.
