Cooler and Showery Weather Ahead

An area of low pressure is entering the region with cooler air and scattered showers/thunderstorms. We’ll just see a small chance of t-storms across the Snake River Plain today, with a much better chance for the high country. Everyone will see a higher chance of showers across the region for Friday and Saturday as the low pressure center moved right over E. Idaho.

Today: Cooler with highs into the lower 70’s. A 20% chance of thunderstorms and showers.

Friday: A chance of showers and mostly cloudy, with highs into the upper 50’s. A 80% chance of precipitation.

Saturday: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Cloudy, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with highs into the lower 60’s. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
