Shetland ponies and mini horses have carriage competition

The Rocky Mountain Shetland Pony and Miniature Horse Club held a carriage competition in Bannock County on Saturday.

About 40 horses were registered and participants came from all over, including some from California.

For the carriage competition, women had to look the part of the 1900s so their outfits had to include things like hats, gloves and whips.

The 1900s carriage competition theme is because of course, back then, carriages were the mode of transportation.
