Car accident causes small power outage

A man suffered some sort of a diabetic reaction while driving and hitting a utility pole.

The Bannock County Sheriff’s office says they received a call around 10:30 Saturday night on Hawthorne road just north of Chubbuck.

The sheriff’s office says the elderly man suffered some sort of diabetic reaction, which caused him to lose control of the car and hit a utility pole.

The accident did cause a small power outage, but Idaho Power had it restored within the hour.

THe sheriff’s office says there were no injuries and only minor damage.
